AUBURN, Ala.- Water Resource Management is evaluating the Town Creek and Moores Mill sewer basins in southeast Auburn to determine areas that need repairs. As part of the work, a company will perform smoke testing beginning on Monday, Oct. 20, through mid-November to help identify potential cracks and holes in the system.

Nearby residents may observe smoke near manhole lids and other outlets. The smoke is non-chemical and harmless to both people and pets.

Those near the testing areas will receive door hangers with information about the project. Detailed maps of the testing areas are available below.
